This category is meant for business-savvy individuals who have considerable investment capital and are willing to settle permanently and establish a business in the Northwest Territories.
The applicants are required to present a viable business plan that has the potential to create lucrative job opportunities for Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Priority is given to entrepreneurs who are capable of providing significant benefits to the northern territory’s economy through their business. This stream includes the following sub-stream:
Entrepreneurs who have an interest in establishing, purchasing, or investing in NT business in any economic sector may be eligible for provincial nomination through this stream. The applicants must submit a business plan for their proposed business. Entrepreneurs introducing new product(s) or providing significant benefits to the NT economy will be given priority.
