This is one of the pathways of the Manitoba International Education Stream of MPNP. This pathway targets foreign nationals who have recently graduated from a post-secondary institution in Manitoba and have at least 6 months’ experience of owning and managing a business in the province of Manitoba.
Candidates successfully nominated through this stream are invited to submit their applications for Canadian PR. It must be noted that the graduates from Canadian post-secondary educational institutions out of Manitoba are ineligible for this stream. Nevertheless, they may apply through one of the Business Investor streams.

To be eligible for this stream, a candidate must have completed a post-secondary program from a specified institute in the province of Manitoba. The program must have been of at least 2 years in length. Furthermore, the candidate must be currently owning and operating a business in the province of Manitoba.
The candidates must demonstrate proficiency in either English or French consistent with CLB level 7. Language tests must have been taken within 2 years prior to applying to the program.
Note: Both the General and the Academic IELTS exam are accepted to apply for this program.
The candidate must be owning a business in the province of Manitoba with equity ownership of at least 51%. Furthermore, the candidate must be operating the business as a senior manager on a daily basis for at least 6 months before nomination on a valid Post-Graduate Work Permit. The candidate will need to submit a Business Performance Agreement (BPA) as part of the application for this program.
All the candidates applying for this stream must be residing in the province of Manitoba since their graduation and exhibit their intent to continue to reside in Manitoba post-nomination.
For this stream, the candidates must demonstrate liquid funds equivalent to Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) requirements per the federal immigration authorities of Canada. Assessment of the candidate’s personal net worth will be done as part of the application process. Though there is no minimum net worth requirement, it will be considered to assess the feasibility of the candidate’s business plan.
The candidate’s age must be between 21 and 35 years.

The qualified candidates will be invited to attend an information session for the MPNP where full details will be provided about the application procedure. It is mandatory to attend the information session in order to be eligible for this pathway.
