Skilled Workers Overseas

It is a cluster of different immigration pathways operated by the province of Manitoba. It includes 3 immigration streams that target foreign nationals with skills and experience needed to make long-lasting contributions to the labour force of Manitoba.
It includes the following streams.

  • Manitoba Skilled Workers Overseas Stream
  • Manitoba Express Entry Pathway
  • Manitoba Human Capital Pathway

Successful applicants receive an official provincial nomination from Manitoba, which makes the candidate eligible to apply for Canadian PR.
It should be noted that in order to be eligible for all the streams of this category, the candidates must score at least 60 points on the MPNP Points Assessment Grid.

Skilled Workers Overseas Stream

This is one of the streams of Manitoba’s Skilled Workers Overseas Category to target foreign nationals with skills and foreign work experience required to contribute to the labour force of Manitoba and who have a connection to the province. This stream is highly competitive and only the applicants with the most competitive profiles and experience in one of Manitoba’s In-Demand Occupations get selected.

Manitoba Express Entry Pathway

Again, this is one of the streams of Manitoba’s Skilled Workers Overseas Category. It targets foreign nationals with active Express Entry profiles with skills and foreign work experience that is required to contribute to the labour force of Manitoba. This is the highly competitive stream and only selects applicants with the most competitive profiles and experience in one of Manitoba’s In-Demand Occupations.

Manitoba Human Capital Pathway

This is one of the streams of Manitoba’s Human Capital Pathway and targets foreign nationals with skills and foreign work experience required to contribute to the labour force of Manitoba. This is a highly competitive stream and only selects applicants with the most competitive profiles and experience in one of Manitoba’s In-Demand Occupations.

To be eligible to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to this category, a candidate must score at least 60 points on the MPNP Points Assessment Grid.
