Solid Plastering falls in the Architecture & Building Field of Education. This qualification provides a trade outcome in solid plastering, covering work in residential and commercial applications. In general, the available programs are flexible and focus on matching learning progress, with the on-the-job experience gained week to week.
A graduate in Certificate III in Solid Plastering earns an average of $54,000 per annum. More than 80% of the graduates generally start/expand a business or move on to more skilled work to get a promotion or higher pay.
This course provides knowledge and skills to finish walls and ceilings using gypsum plasters, acrylic texture coats. Students also learn how to install precast decorative mouldings and construct ornamental mouldings in the restoration process.
