Skilled Workers in Manitoba

This is a collection of different immigration streams operated by the province of Manitoba. It includes 3 immigration streams that target foreign nationals with employment experience or a job offer in Manitoba and have the necessary skills and training to succeed in the Manitoba labour force.
The streams included in this category are:

Successful applicants receive an official provincial nomination from Manitoba, which makes the applicants eligible to apply for Canadian permanent resident status.
It should be noted that meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee success, as all the candidates are ranked using the MPNP Ranking System and only the most competitive ones are invited to submit applications.

Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream

This stream of the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Category targets foreign nationals with work experience in Manitoba who are working in the province at the time of the application. Only the most competitive profiles are selected in this stream.

Manitoba Experience Pathway

Again, this stream is a part of the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Category and targets foreign nationals with work experience in Manitoba who are currently working in the province at the time of application. Again, only the most competitive profiles are selected in this stream.

Employer Direct Recruitment Pathway

This is a stream of the Skilled Workers in Manitoba Category especially for candidates who attended an interview with the MPNP and an employer outside of Canada. The candidates with successful job offers are invited to submit an application to the stream.

MPNP Ranking System

This system is used to assign all the MPNP candidates a score once they have submitted their Expression of Interest (EOI). The candidates with the highest scores are invited to apply to the program.
