New Brunswick

Located on Canada’s eastern coast on the Atlantic Ocean, the province of New Brunswick is host to a number of unique Provincial Nomination Programs (PNPs) specially designed to attract and retain newcomers in order to fill gaps in the workforce and contribute meaningfully to local economies and communities of the province.

Some of the immigration streams currently operated by the province of New Brunswick are:
•    New Brunswick Express Entry Labour Market Stream
•    New Brunswick Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream
•    New Brunswick Skilled Workers with Employer Support

The province organizes events periodically outside Canada for foreign nationals who are interested to immigrate to Canada. Those successful through these information sessions/events get eligible to immigrate to Canada through the province’s PNP or the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program.

New Brunswick Express Entry Labour Market Stream

This stream (EELMS) acts as a pathway to PR for highly skilled individuals who have already expressed their interest in the stream. As the program is aligned with the federal Express Entry immigration system, it enables successful applicants to get their applications processed much more quickly.

Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream

This stream target individuals who have recently graduated from universities and colleges of New Brunswick and have started/bought a business in New Brunswick and operated it for at least one year. In case the applicants meet the above requirements and have an interest in settling in New Brunswick permanently, they may qualify for a provincial nomination through this stream.

Skilled Workers with Employer Support Stream

This stream targets highly skilled foreign workers who have a valid job offer from a New Brunswick employer.

Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program

The province of New Brunswick participates in the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP), which is an economic growth initiative developed in partnership between the federal government and Canada’s Atlantic provinces. The program facilitates the immigration process for newcomers who have obtained a job offer from a designated employer in the Atlantic region.
