The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program gives opportunity to prospective immigrants who have in-demand skills and experience to become a part of the province’s growing workforce through its different streams of immigration, namely:
• Express Entry Skilled Worker
• Skilled Worker
• International Graduate
The skilled workers of NOC Skill Level 0, A, or B occupations who have a guaranteed employment offer and are part of the federal Express Entry pool may be eligible to apply for this stream of NLPNP.
This stream of NLNP is for experienced workers of all NOC Skill Levels who have a guaranteed full-time job offer from a Newfoundland and Labrador employer to apply for provincial nomination. The condition is that the applicant must have a specialized skill set that suitably meets the needs of the employer.
Only the graduates from certain post-secondary institutions who choose to stay in Canada on a Post-Graduate Work Permit may be eligible to apply for this program. Furthermore, the graduates must either have received a job offer from a Newfoundland & Labrador employer or be currently employed in a job relating to their field of study.
This category is specially designed for foreign nationals who have experience owning and managing businesses and wish to invest in purchasing and managing a business in the province of Newfoundland & Labrador. It should be noted that the applicants must have experience in business management and also have a considerable personal net worth.
This category is specially designed for foreign nationals who have graduated from at least a 2-year post-secondary program in Newfoundland & Labrador and have at least 1 year of experience in owning and managing a business in the province.
The applicants need to achieve a minimum score of 67 points on the below-mentioned Point Assessment Grid in addition to meeting the eligibility requirements set by the NLNP Express Entry Skilled Worker Program.

The program facilitates the immigration process for newcomers who have obtained a job offer from a designated employer in the Atlantic region.
