Associate membership to the organization can be gained on completion of an accredited degree. The process of enlisting as a Member or a Senior Member requires at least three years of relevant experience and an application process in which the applicant’s skills, competencies, and qualifications will be validated.

Student who complete their training are eligible for 5 points towards Permanent Residency in Australia.

Professions in Engineering are in high demand as they are listed in Skilled Occupations List (SOL) and Consolidated Sponsored Occupations List (CSOL). Some of the professions are Civil Engineers, Materials Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Plant Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and Telecommunications Engineers. The procedure for securing Permanent Resident status includes an assessment procedure by a recognized authority mandated for work sponsorship or for migration purpose.
